Tótotl
In collaboration with Teatro Tetris, in 2021, I created the original music for the puppet play TÓTOTL. I perform the music live: from melodies on the piano and clarinet, to handmade instruments and soundscapes through everyday objects and “garbage”,

Synopsis
“Totótl is a flamingo that has been captured by Alfonsina, a lady who lives by herself, in the company of birds whose feathers she cuts so that they stay in her caged garden. Until one night that Tótotl takes flight seeking freedom. Tototl will inspires others to embark on their own path of self-discovery, identity and courage.”

Tótotl was initially supported by the PECDA 2021 governmental fund and has also received financial support through the Chapultepec National Circuit of Performing Arts: Theater and Independent Spaces fund to tour in 2023 in Oaxaca, Chiapas and Veracruz.
