Lumbre en 10/8 (Fire in 10/8) was a musical project promoted by Zuuk and the percussionist Kátsica Mayoral with collaborations from artists like Cosmonautas Teatro de Sombras, Natalhi Vázquez and Miranda Amatista.

where notes, rhythms and melodies,
from different latitudes,
from different moments
both strange and familiar
touch
Like all species, music also migrates: we affect each other, we transmute. And sometimes, in two different places in the world, at two different moments in History, two beings create the same song.
Lumbre (fire) is a stove where you cook, eat. It is a bonfire where we gather and tell stories. And it is a portal to acknowledge and heal ourselves. Without music or dance, this is not our revolution

A fusion between: Lamma Bada Yatathanna, a muwaššaha (Andalusian Arabic poem -southern Spain-) of the late 9th century; and la Negra Tomasa, a 1987 Cuban song by the composer Guillermo Rodríguez Fiffe.
